Midlands Regional Heats - Inter-University Pole Dance Competition 2017.
The University of Warwick Pole and Aerial Arts Society is proud to be the first ever hosts of the Midlands Inter-University Pole Dance Competition! On Saturday 11th February 2017 at 10am join us to celebrate the incredible achievements of university-level dancers and watch them spin, lift and tumble their way through the day for the chance to be in the final at Newcastle.
This regional heat of the Inter-Uni Pole Dance Competition will see outstanding university societies competing from all over the Midlands – Bangor, Keele, Nottingham, Loughborough, Birmingham, Cambridge, Derby, Hull and of course your hosts, the University of Warwick. This year sees the most universities on record entering IUPDC – over 40 in total – and the stakes are higher than ever! These brilliant students will be showing how hard they’ve worked alongside their degrees and demonstrate their strength, athleticism and beauty in an all-day event.
The Midlands heat is overseen by the National University Pole Association (NUPA).
The categories on show are Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Group – with some of the hottest talent on show, plus three amazing (but secret!) guest judges, this will be an event not to miss. There will be opportunities throughout the day to donate to charity and some amazing prizes up for grabs, plus stalls from our sponsors offering goods at brilliant prices!
