Inter-University Pole Dancing Competition 2016.
For the second consecutive year, Warwick Pole Dancing Society is proud to host the UKs biggest University pole dancing competition. With 20 Universities and as many as 180 competitors taking part, the event showcases some of the best new talent in the pole fitness community.
This year, expect stunning guest performances from professional pole artists and UK champions Jess Leanne Norris, Sam King and Doubles champions, Yvette Dusol & Jade Tinkler.
As the UK University Pole Competition scene gains more and more momentum each year, the standard of performance reaches new levels and whether you view pole dance as an artform or a sport, it is impossible to deny the athleticism, grace and creativity of this community of dancers.
Our judging panel of 9 highly respected industry professionals includes Lauren Red, Sam Remmer, Jess Leanne Norris, Sam King, Jade Tinkler & Yvette Dusol, with further guests TBC.
We have a range of prizes on offer from our amazing sponsors; X-Pole, The Pole Dance Community, Dragonfly Brand Clothing, Wink Designs, Spin City & Millie Robson Photography – And even if you’re not in the competition, you’ll have a chance to win anything from an X-Pole to some new kit by taking part in our raffle!
We are excited to announce that this year, for the first time ever at IUPDC, workshops with all our guest performers will be running on Sunday 6th March at Warwick University – some are even donating spots on their masterclasses as prizes!
And as always, there will be the afterparty on Saturday night to come out and get to know the other societies.
