PDC Approved event the Midwest Pole Dancing Competition has just had another successful year showcasing some of the best pole dancing talent in the United States. The event saw not only a fabulous range of competitors but also a wonderful showcase of guest performers.

Midwest Essential Pole Division:

The competition was presented by Lovers Lane and held at the Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, Illinois just outside of Chicago on the 8/23-8/25.

Over 400 were in attendance from the US, Canada, Mexico and Australia, the youngest competitor was just 18 and most mature was 62. One male competitor, Josiah 'Badazz' Grant, who won the championship, received a standing ovation from the audience.


The competiton involved three VIP/Guest showcases featuring judges, VIP instructors and numerous guests including Jamilla and Suzie Q and Toby J from Australia, it was the first competition to use junior judges who's scores did not count toward the finalists totals but had the experience of sitting at Midwest Pole Dancing-Competition Beccathe judges table and experience judging a professional competition alongside the other judges. They received the judges manual, attended the judges meeting and receive copies of the other judges score sheets for the division they judged so that they can compare how they did with the professional judges.

There were 25 vendors including massage therapy, spa services, Chiropractic services, sexy clothing and traditional bra fitting, pole dance insurance, hula hoop designer and of course numerous pole dancers and pole products services as well as free Reggae dance and hula hoop lessons
