A Year of Aerial Dance - 2013 Charity Calendar.
Trowbridge School of Poledance was created 2 years ago by PDC Approved 3 star pole dancing instructor Amirah Omran. We started with a couple of classes a week at TLC ladies gym, and have gone from strength to strength now running from 2 venues and offering a range of alternative fitness classes, including hula hoop, acrobalance, pollet (ballet pole fusion) and street ballet. As well as strengthening and conditioning classes.
We work really hard to support each and every one of our students and everyone is important to us. We have the most wonderful group of people and a really positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Amirah has over 6 years experience of pole and is a professional dancer and fitness instructor.
We have the same vision as beatbullying, maybe on a smaller scale, empowering our students and making them believe in themselves and exceed their expectations and achieve their goals through fitness.
We, Charlotte Bolton (student) and Amirah Omran, made the calendar as we wanted to do something positive for the pole industry, and show off what we do to the world. Showcasing the amazing skills of aerial artists.
We chose beatbullying as our charity as we felt that there vision is similar to ours. Some of our calendars stars have been victim to bullying, and pole dancing has turned their life around. We wanted to help raise awareness for the charity and this calendar is the perfect way. There have been so many sad stories in the media concerning bullying recently. Beatbullying have worked with us on the project and are really excited about the results.
The calendar has bought together a collection of well known (and not so well known) pole and aerial artists. Including Jess Leanne Norris, Bendy Kate, Ana Cerrato, Daniel Rosen, Stevie Hilton and Emily Smith.

All of the artists gave up their time for free, including photographer Paul de Villineuve and Graphics designer Alison Curtis. Some even travelled across the country to shoot with us we would like to thank everyone who gave up their time and fingers crossed we raise lots for the charity.
The calendar is now available to order and makes the perfect Christmas present for any poler.
