LoveSpin's Leah Campbell and Polly Ainsworth received their 4 star references from Pole Dance Community instructors Stacey Snedden and Emma Colsey-Nicholls. Leah said "Myself and Polly are joint partners in LoveSpin, we have worked extremely hard to get where we are today and also to get what we still want to achieve, we have a massive passion for the Pole Dance Industry and work very hard to stick to all guidelines, insurances, consent forms, risk assessments.....our hard work has and still is paying off, we have a regular 80 - 100 students on a weekly basis then even more on our weekend workshops and other classes we like to offer. We pride ourselves on teaching excellent technique and continue to push ourselves to keep our classes fun and of course safe."

Check out Leah and Polly's reference and history.

Reference - Stacey Snedden:
Polly Harris and Leah Campbell both work very hard to develop their school (lovespin) and their pole skills, I have dealt with them via X-Pole and they have always been pleasant and have always made it easy to work alongside to support the pole industry.

Reference - Emma Colsey Nicholls:
Leah and Polly have proved their success by opening not one, but 2 pole fitness studios. They work hard to prepare and enter both their students and themselves into pole competitions and provide workshops with some of the UK’s leading pole fitness instructors. I love checking out what this girls are up to and their latest venture as they are inspiring business women who also have young families to take care of too. Their dedication to and passion can be clearly seen in everything they do.

Leah - I started teaching in August 2008, qualified in ETM & vertical dance straight away, started teaching in gyms, then grew very quickly, opened our first 7 pole studio (we have always taught one to a pole, never have Lovespin done pole share.....), we then opened a 5 pole studio in Holywell, Polly runs the Holywell studio, myself, I run the Mold studio, we quickly out grew the 7 pole studio in Mold, so we opened a 12 pole studio in Mold in August 2010, we are fully booked on classes and hen parties in both studios. We run courses levels 1 – 6, all moves are in-line with the PDC syllabus

polly ainsworth pole dancing picture, jpgStudent's pole dancing success:
Polly - Well I’d like to think all my students have success!  I have so many weight loss stories for instance Emily Jaimeson has lost over a stone.  I also have a lady who struggled with her confidence when she came to me, since then she has taken part in 2 pole shows with us and competed in the All Wales Pole Championships in April.

Leah - Lovespin got shortlisted for a Mumpreneur award in 2010, we were shortlisted from (roughly) 250 companies down to the last 6 (PDC put our press release up about this last year), in the first NWPC  in Jan 2010 one of our students won the performer category, then in the AWPC this year, we got 2nd in performers (Virginia Williams), 1st and 2nd in the intermediate category (Sarah-Jayne Best and Cheryl Cummins) and 4th in the Advanced category (Alison Dunlop), I did all choreography for these competitors this year from Lovespin. In 2009 we had 2 girls attend the Manchester heat of Pole Divas, sadly neither went through to the final, the feedback was extremely good though and it was a fully booked heat and excellent performers......One girl was placed 3rd in the heat and the other 5th (both categories had 10 in each)

Continuing Professional Development:
Polly - I am always looking to improve my dance and teaching by having jams with other polers, searching youtube for inspiration and also going to masterclasses and workshops.

Leah - We are often in the Flintshire leader and chronicle

What has been your AAP Membership involvement?

Polly and Leah - we are both AAP members.

Pole Dancing Goals & Aspirations:
Polly - I want to continue teaching pole dancing to a high quality so people of all abilities get to enjoy pole dance.  Our ethos is to teach people good pole dancing in a friendly safe atmosphere built with the student in mind.  All our studios offer one person to a pole and we plan to continue this with a new venue in the near future.  LoveSpin also plans to offer different styles of pole dancing which can be offered cheaper but without compromising on quality.

Leah - We are hoping to open a 3rd studio in the very near future, we have 3 members of staff currently going through their ETM qualifications and first aid, we have designed our very own crash mats which are starting to sell well, looking at attending many more workshops in the future (now we have staff, we have time to do this), continuing to grow LoveSpin even more than what it already has and offers.

The Pole Dance Community would like to congratulate Leah and Polly on their 4 star success and for being great ambassadors for the wider Pole dancing industry.
