PDC approved pole dance school Emily's Pole Fitness Halloween Show:
Emily’s way of teaching is to increase your confidence and help students achieve things they thought would never be possible, performing in a show for example is usually one of them! From complete beginners to advanced students performed in Emily’s Pole Fitness’ Halloween Show on Friday 29th October 2010.
“All of my students were fantastic! Everyone was so nervous but it didn’t show as they all put on such a great show. I am so proud of all my girls! It takes a lot of courage to perform in front of an audience, I speak from experience. I still get extremely nervous as do some of the best pole dancers out there but performing is such a fantastic experience and fills you with so much confidence. I encourage my students to perform so they can feel how exciting it is and show off what they can do.”
The show started with a group performance to Thriller and then went on to individual performances starting with beginners, leading to a double act, followed by more individual performances by more advanced students and finishing with a fun performance to Ghostbusters!
“My girls showed that you don’t have to invert to put a great routine together, at least 5 performances didn’t include any inverts. I teach my students how to link spins together with transitions and dance so everyone can make up their own individual routines. The Halloween theme helped too, everyone dressed up and made a real effort with costumes and scary themed routine ideas, it was fab!”
Emily’s Pole Fitness will be holding their next show at the end of March next year, it will be an 80s theme! The show will consist of group performances, individual performances and a guest performer!
