360 Pole Dancing Offers FREE Pole Dancing Taster Class to Celebrate UK Pole Dance Day!

Bristol’s newest pole dance community approved pole dance school, 360 Pole Dancing is inviting ladies (and gentlemen!) to join them at their Southville studio for a free afternoon of fun on Saturday 1 May to celebrate UK Pole Dance Day.

This May Day, Robyn Rooke, founder of 360 Pole Dancing will be opening her doors and inviting women and men of all ages to try pole dance. The event forms part of UK Pole Dance Day, a national, annual event organised by Equity, the performers’ union. UK Pole Dance Day, now in its second year, encourages the public to look again at a dance form considered by many to be the sole preserve of the gentlemen’s club.

Robyn Rooke founder of 360 Pole Dancing comments: Although pole dance is a sexy and sensual dance form, it is also a highly-skilled activity that requires strength, poise and grace. It’s also extremely good fun. Here at 360 Pole Dancing we teach students of all ages, and all shapes and sizes, and everyone leaves with a smile on their face. It’s really challenging, but also a great way to feel sexy.”

Robyn decided to take part in the national event because she feels pole dance deserves to be taken seriously. “Anyone can try it!” she says, and she’s organised a free taster session to prove it. At the end of the class, Robyn will give a demonstration of what serious training and dedication to the art form can achieve. It promises to be a spectacular day. The session is aimed at those who have never pole danced before and want to find out more about it.
