PDC Approved (4 Star) Pole Dancing Instructors.

 

PDC Approval (4 star) is achieved by providing a suitable pole dancing CV to the PDC. In addition, the applicant must provide two references from PDC Approved Instructors and must hold an AAP membership.

As a minimum, PDC Approved (4 star) Instructors should exemplify excellence in teaching quality and have extensive pole fitness industry experience. They must be able to display a pro-active community involvement. This may include, but is not restricted to; running competitions, organising master classes, training champions, providing teacher training courses, having local and preferably national media recognition.

In these ways, a PDC Approved (4 star) Instructor is recognised for making a positive contribution to the pole fitness industry.

Tracy Huckfield started life as a pole dancing instructor in 2007. In 2008 Tracy decided to undertake some continuing professional development so she successfully completed an Exercise to Music (ETM) course to further her fitness knowledge. After completing her ETM Tracy felt ready to set up her own pole dancing school and Pagan's Pole was born. Tracy is also the promoter of PDC approved All Wales Pole Championships.

Fawnia is the proprtietor and principal instructor of the Pole Fitness Studio in Las Vegas. Fawnia is a world renowned and respected pole dancer who has been teaching pole fitness since 2004. Fawnia was one of the first pole dancers in the world to release instructional pole dancing DVD's.

Mary-Ellyn Weissman:

Mary Ellyn Weissman is the owner and creator of PDC approved pole dance school Empowerment Through Exotic Dance Ltd., which was the first pole dancing school in the Chicago area in 2005. She was born in 1960 and is married with two sons.
Mary Ellyn sees herself as a teacher rather than a performer or competitor. Her greatest enjoyment comes from sharing her skills with her students and sharing their excitement as they succeed.  Click here to read more about Mary-Ellyn.

Elena Gibson:

Elena founded PDC approved Pole Dancing School in London and she is also its principal dance teacher and choreographer. She trained professionally in classical ballet from the age of 9 and has danced extensively for The National Ballet of Canada  and the Bavarian State Opera House in Germany, as well as in numerous other theatre productions as a guest artist in both North America and Europe. Karen Chaundy:

Karen Chaundy is the founder and inspiration behind PDC approved pole dance school Bodybarre.  She has immersed herself in the world of fitness and dance all her life starting with gymnastics at 2 years old.  Karen continued with gymnastics; training in Bulgaria and competing at regional squad level before becoming a club coach and chief choreographer by the age of 21.
